Here’s a throw back to a video explaining the concept of breakaway walls that I did a few years ago. Simply put a breakaway wall is purposely designed to break when a certain amount pressure is applied to it. This is used in high flood areas to save the structure. If there walls were not a breakaway wall, the walls and the structure would then be lost in a flood.
